Matthew uses his first-hand executive experience to unite executive teams around a CEO’s vision to develop and execute a strategic plan for the organization. His extensive experience coaching and developing leaders on internal executive teams and external organizations as a coach/consultant is complemented by his extensive study and training in business, management, finance, and strategy, and his deep passion for leading teams and organizations through facilitation toward strategic clarity, alignment, and execution.

I seek out the “Glue Player” role on teams to bring heads of departments together and provide them with the support and development they need to keep the organization running smoothly. My work frees up the CEO to contribute with their unique genius, having the greatest impact on the company. All the while, I provide the CEO with an internal strategic conversation partner to help them stay high-level, process internally, and remove the day-to-day management burden from the CEO. This support reduces stress on the CEO and frees them up to leverage their visioning and building strengths and remain high level most of the time. My work results in less stress, better outcomes, more enjoyment, and therefore more longevity for the CEO in the business.

I live in San Antonio, Texas with my wife, daughter, son, and Maine Coon cat. I’m a Pastor in the United Methodist Church, and - when I’m not working - you can often find me out seeing the sights of San Antonio, drinking great craft beer, and doing improv comedy.
